2026 January Stuff I Like and Use
I can’t believe we are already in 2026! Now that I am back from Japan, I wanted to make sure to get my gear update out (even though I am having withdrawals after returning from Japan…I love the place and my extended family that lives there).
I do have a question, what stand-alone audio capture device would you recommend when trying to capture audio from a hula performance and I have to shoot video from further away? Zoom (looking at the H6essential) makes some good gear and my awesome friend and colleague, Doc, recommended the Tascam Portacapture (more than likely the X8)and I am leaning towards that.
